Hi everyone!
Q: I have a childhood friend that they said have geno 2B. What medication is used to treat HCV 2B with possible cirrhosis. I told them about my journey here and how successful it was with the camaraderie and how amazingly incredible our Dr. James is. So if anyone can give me that information, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sven,

Sofosbuvir+Daclatasvir or Sofosbuvir+Velpatasvir both work on 2b

With cirrhosis Velpatasvir is preferred.

Maviret is also good but as yet there is no generic.
YMMV
