Fuk just spent 2 hours explaining what has happened to me but all lost again I am hopeless on Puters.

But I am still Undetected at 9 weeks at end of 10 months of Sof/Dac PLUS in July Doc Freeman gave me a Baseball Bat to knock it out and It has WORKED A TREAT.

THANK YOU SIR Doc FREEMAN I have Knighted you in the name of being a Bloody Good Bloke and putting so much of your time into HELPING others. Wow it has been a Great Xmas as I was told the good news 2 weeks ago and confirmed last Monday.

I also must thank the previous Forum for the help with the process and Archer for pointing me to this Website and help with Gaj and Mr Jarman and the Legend.

Also my First Doctor Doc Shinde who has put up with a lot of Crap from me, and put me in contact with her Bro in law whose Employee ZAHEER got me introduced to the Live Liver Surgeon at the Hospital in Bangalore and drove me around on the back of his Scooter. I was laughed at and told I was a fool etc Idiot for taking Drugs from India, Then the Doc Freeman added the final drug for which again SCGH told me I am an Idiot as I cant even remember the name of as I called it the Ruski Drug.

They made me laugh last Monday patting themselves for such a great job ffs they dropped the ball and had me pigeonholed and told me I would not be able to get any of the Sof/ Dac when it comes out in July in Australia. I abused most prob 70% of Specialists and doctors over my 4 years but only 2 Nurses and one was for not letting me sleep with my ankles off the bed as they were too sore from banging on the Stainless Steel bed thing in Surgery where they cut my Artery by mistake ( I didn't abuse Shaun the Spec as he was genuine and told me straight up)

Anyway I must learn to move on and I cannot thank everyone enough all I need is too get my gut muscles not to hurt so much and Life I am back.

Its a two way street Woobia ...we've talked across some rough times ... and its been great knowing you mate ... .

I remember the times you walked home to the flat from the hospital when in town ... so pissed off and ill ...

what I most remember is what a class act you were ... how hard you fought .....when in pain ... the blows with bad

news... how you continued exercising .. putting in all the effort ... travelling home the many miles north

... giving the medicos a serve when you had a gutful of poor treatment .... wouldnt lay down and accept their verdict ........

moved on........willing the courage to try again..... chancing everything elsewhere .....the overseas efforts ...

maintaining so many activities with your family ... keeping up the memories.... but still fighting .....

Im glad we are not at war Barry .... you are a hard man to keep down... and Im so glad of it

Ive lost too many friends from this disease .... my heart hurts .... its great to see you recover so much ...

Thought of you and the family over Xmas ..... and its good knowing they still have their time with you.................

When I first read your posts you sounded so down and thought you were not going to make it.
Good stuff.
There are some right cnuts in the medical industry so when you come across people like The Legend it goes a little way to balancing the scales.

you seem to be confirming my own view that no matter how bad things are life is better without Hep C.

It's good to hear that even with the odds looking against someone, they did something and cleared the virus. Ballsy effort.

The Ruski drug was BMS originator Asunaprevir which is a GT1 specific NS3/4a DAA like Simeprevir, but at a better price than the $1k per month for Janssen originator Simeprevir out of Egypt.

Well Life is still ok not as good as one would like but I am working on my fitness as legs swell up badly and my guts hurts really badly from where they cut my Gut muscles and I now look like I am 6 month pregnant. I am back in Cambodia and Thailand for 2 weeks with my Daughter 12 yrs old we are in Phnom Penh for 3 more days and then fly back to Bangkok for 2 days then home, she is loving it and so am I as Massages are $5 per hour up $1 since August last year. Shaves are $1 and washing folding is $1 per kg but normally 50c local. Food is Fantastic and reasonable prices. all USD.

Hire Taxi for day is $75 and we did this yesterday as the guy returned my phone I had left in his Taxi and took him to his Favourite French Restaurant for Lunch, I didn't try the Frog Legs but food was Great.

We came over to meet up with a young lady from Bangkok and offer her a working holiday in Australia with the Family,but unable to locate her now as Massage joint closed due to renovations. Bummer as she had strong hands spoke very good English way better than me and had an Accountancy Degree of some sort. It was too good to be true as my Daughter has lost the edge in Maths and her teacher even told her she doesn't like her wtf. I guess I may have been responsible for that as I would not allow my Child to be forced to Sit on Floor wait after Bell to be allowed out after class because one kid was mucking up before recess and lunch then keep her in after school for same reason.

I have a great young Massage lady here and I asked her if she was interested and all seemed good till it looks like her Family or her Boss doesn't want her to go. So back to drawing board I will go back there again today for my deep tissue massage and cry like a baby when she belts the living hell out of me. My daughter laughs her head off at me but I am able to keep going and keep forcing myself to get the most out of Life.

We offered to meet parents and Family and for her to bring a friend as long as they would share same air con room and help with massage and helping my daughter they would also go with us on any Family outings all free and offered a 3 month contract $x and pay flights accom visas passports. It seems most must think we are scamming them for Sex or Slavery or Selling them. I can understand it as when me and Tawani walk around people (visitors mostly ) stare at us and then If I see them talking about us with the disgusted look on their dials. I tell them yes this is my wife but I am trading her in as she is turning 13 now so time for a change.

Well Life has been Unbelievable since my last post I found a Local Chinese massage lady that does deep tissue and no bullshit she has worked miracles on me my legs arms back etc it is such a great feeling to be able to get around and be a real person again.

There is always a BUT I went down to SCGH last week for an MRI which was cancelled last November but they forgot to tell MRI mob. as I paid for one before Xmas as I didn't want to wait. Anyway I went to the Hernia Surgeon on Monday and they sent him the results of the MRI and he wont operate yet as they have found more Cancer. I kept saying that it was too good to be true.

BUT it is from the Original ablation? 4 years ago they used Radiation to blast the original cancer and they said it looks like it has reappeared in the Sirrosis so I will have an Ultrasound to locate it exactly then they will blast away, then I can get rid of my Gut Hernias

Could be worse but so far they seem confident it isn't serious. Still feel Great and gunna call the massage lady again before she flies out to China for the New Year Celebrations It is unreal I had over 30 massages by about 15 different ones and bugger me she was here all along. I have been unable to make a fist on my Left hand and constant pain but No problems now.

I also had that 'baseball bat' as a 3rd med for 4 weeks thanks to Dr F - and am happy to report I am now SVR24.

Well I am hoping to get out today but seems the Doc is a bit slow today and hasnt dropped by.

I had cancer regurn in jan and have had it ablated at SCGH in prth went home as bit crook and have had my Hernias fixed at a private hospital in perth . They did it last tuesday and still sore and waiting to go back home.

Specialist reckons they thought hole was about 50c piece but it was a five dollar note size so it took a lot longer and they doubled up on patch.

Food is good and in a new room so it is ok. just lookin forward to being able to walk and go crabbing again as it has been a while. Last Monday on way here local doc phoned and said i had glandular fever ffs how dont know but it explains why i have had no energy. Wife got Ross river from work and i asked doc to check me if i had same. she explained no it doesnt happen like that so i said what if the same mozzy but me or was a brother of other one No we wont tezt you for that.

Saw olm8 doc in karratha and he tested me positive for GF. he reckons it is the kissing disease ffs cannot work out how i got it.

Still clear of Hep C thanks to Doc Freeman and his Russian mate Vladameir. All the best to all and hoping in 6 weeks time i am getting fitter.
